Effective date: October 13, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Denys Nazarenko, operating as Four Eights ("we", "us"), for the RepRats app and the RepRats Pro subscription. You accept these terms when you create an account or tap Continue, Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google on the sign-in screen, where they are linked. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA", https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies to the app. If it conflicts with these terms about your licence to the app or Apple's rights, the Apple EULA wins. In all other respects these terms win. Section 13 sets out what Apple is and is not responsible for.
You must be at least 13 years old, and at least the age at which you can consent to online services on your own in your country or province (for example 14 in Quebec, and up to 16 in parts of Europe). If you are under 18, you may use RepRats only if a parent or guardian agrees to these terms and supervises your use of it.
You need an account (email, Sign in with Apple or Google). Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@reprats.app if you think someone else has access.
RepRats lets you log workouts and see your history and progress for free. RepRats Pro adds the coach: suggested weights and reps for your next sets, exercise swap suggestions, exercises to avoid, and related features. Which features are free and which are Pro can change over time, as section 8 describes.
RepRats is a logbook and planning tool. Its "coach" is software that does arithmetic on the numbers you log; it is not a doctor, physiotherapist or personal trainer, it cannot see you train, and nothing in the app is medical advice or a diagnosis. Suggested weights, reps, rest times and swaps, and the reasons shown with them, are calculations from the numbers you log and the gym settings you enter. They are estimates, they can be wrong, and they do not know about your injuries, health conditions, sleep, technique, equipment or the day you are having.
Before its first weight and rep suggestion, the app shows a short training safety notice that says this. We record on your account that you acknowledged it. You can read it again at any time in Settings under Training safety.
Strength training carries a risk of injury. Before you start or change an exercise programme, talk to a doctor if you have any health condition, are pregnant, or are returning from injury or a long layoff. Train within your ability. Treat every suggestion as a starting point: use lighter weights, take more rest or skip a lift whenever it does not feel right, use spotters and safety equipment, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or anything unusual. You are responsible for the weights you lift and the decisions you make.
To the extent the law allows, you use RepRats at your own risk and you accept the risks of strength training, including injury, and we are not liable for injury or loss that results from your training decisions, including claims based on our negligence. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law (see section 10).
You own your workout data and content. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it only to run RepRats for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and data in the app at any time.
Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or scrape the app or its coaching logic, except as the law allows. Do not attack, overload or probe our servers, bypass access limits or subscription checks, use another person's account, or use the app to break the law. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
The app, its design, text, code and coaching logic belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as set out in the Apple EULA.
We work to keep RepRats running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always offline-capable.
We may change these terms, or change or remove features. If a change matters to you, such as new terms or removing a free feature you use or a Pro feature you pay for, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect and show you the new wording. You can cancel your subscription or stop using RepRats before then. If you keep using RepRats after the change takes effect, the new terms apply. Changes needed for legal or security reasons may take effect sooner; we will tell you as soon as we can.
If we discontinue RepRats Pro, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and stop renewals, and we will keep Pro working until the end of the period you have paid for or help you ask Apple for a refund of the unused part.
If you live in Quebec: this section applies only to the extent the Quebec Consumer Protection Act and the Civil Code of Québec allow. It does not limit the legal warranties of quality and of conformity those laws give you.
To the extent the law allows, RepRats is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of suggestions and non-infringement.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the law gives you rights when digital content or a digital service is faulty or not as described, and nothing in these terms affects them. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
If you live in Quebec: this section applies only to the extent the Quebec Consumer Protection Act and the Civil Code of Québec allow. We do not exclude or limit liability for bodily or moral injury you suffer, or for injury caused by our intentional or gross fault.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for injury or loss that results from training decisions you make, including following a suggestion. Our total liability to you for anything related to RepRats is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for RepRats Pro in the 12 months before the claim and CA$100.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Depending on where you live, that can include liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and it always includes liability for fraud, gross negligence and intentional misconduct. Nothing in these terms affects consumer rights that cannot be waived, including under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002, Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, and consumer law in the European Union and the United Kingdom. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live and may bring a claim in the courts of your home jurisdiction where the law gives you that right.
You can stop using RepRats at any time by deleting your account. We may end your access as stated in section 6. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law, Apple and general terms) survive ending.
